To Bilbao

Today you board your flight from the UK to Bilbao, transferring to your hotel. On Day 2, you enjoy a walking tour of this iconic Basque city before an afternoon at leisure when you might like to visit the famous Guggenheim Museum.

Day 3 Leon


This morning you continue along the Pilgrim's Trail to historic León. Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of the city, taking in the marvellous Cathedral and the Casa de los Botines, one of the only Gaudi buildings outside of Catalonia.

To Santiago

Board the train to the city of Santiago today, the final destination on the Pilgrim's Trail. On Day 5, you embark on a guided tour of this traditional Spanish town, taking in the inspiring Cathedral building that marks the final resting place of St. James.

On Day 6, you embark on a journey to discover the rugged Galician coastline and the charming towns which line them. You begin at the wonderful city of Pontevedra with its array of fantastic religious buildings. Our excursion continues through Combarro and Cambados, two idyllic coastal fishing villages nestled along the 'Rias Baixas', or estuaries, which populate this area. You have some time in each town, be sure to sample the sea-food and enjoy the wonderful coastal views.

Days 7-8 Madrid


Today, we travel by rail to the Spanish capital where we check into our hotel before an afternoon at leisure. Day 8 begins with a guided tour of wonderful Madrid, both by coach and on foot. The afternoon is then at leisure before you enjoy some traditional Spanish cooking in a local restaurant for dinner.

Today you transfer to the airport for the flight back to the UK.
