Our train tours capture the essence of this magnificent country
as they take you through breathtaking scenery to cultural and
historical highlights. Exploring the USA by rail is not only one of
the most environmentally friendly means of travel, but they also
allow you to witness the most awe-inspiring sights that America has
to offer. During a rail tour of the USA you can experience the
immensity of Arizona's Grand Canyon which contrasts against the
exuberance and vivacity of California's fashionable Los Angeles.
You may prefer the Bohemian ambience of cool San Francisco which is
home to precipitous snaking streets and the majestic Golden Gate
Bridge. Fisherman's Wharf is a bustling yet relaxed part of the
city and you will find many entertaining street performers as well
as numerous cafés, shops and restaurants where you can savour
delicious fresh seafood.
For nature lovers Yosemite National Park is a vast wilderness
and is home to mighty waterfalls, picturesque lakes, granite cliffs
and giant redwood trees, and if you are fortunate enough you may
spot one of the great black bears. Yosemite has been listed as a
UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its natural outstanding beauty
which makes it just one of the highlights on USA rail tours.
I loved every minute of it tour guide Chris was very helpful, he even rang me before departure for a chat and helped me book tickets for the Grand Ole Oprey. Al our driver was very helpful thoughout the trip, any questions about the deep south ask Al. The tour bus had seen better days but the air con worked and that's what mattered most. I personally would have preferred to say in down town Nashville instead of Opry land. All the regional, tour guides were very good . Loved Chattanooga, loved Nashville, loved Memphis and Gracelands tour, riding on the City of New Orleans was something else, just one more thing ticked off my bucket list that Steve Goodman song was in my head all day long, brilliant. We arrived in New Orleans on a Saturday and i was full of Stag and Hen parties it made Benidorm look good but the crac on Bourbon St was electric I wouldn't have missed it for the world I believe that it was your company's first adventure in the deep south, well in my opinion it was a brilliant success if anything UNDER priced. Thanks for a great trip, I'd do it all again to morrow
